In this role, you’ll drive the design of impactful digital solutions as part of a broader operating model design, working closely with both internal teams and Clients to ensure success. You’ll lead and support discovery workshops that include understanding key customer journeys and supporting processes, validate technical approaches, and support proposals that highlight the power of our Zendesk digital products. As part of the broader Solutions team, you will work in conjunction with Sales to be the technical bridge between our Account Executives and their Client prospects, supporting value-driven presentations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own the Solution Design: work with our technical teams to lead the design of end-to-end digital solutions, ensuring they seamlessly blend into Operations, optimising the customer’s experience, removing waste, smoothing out journey friction, and enhancing agent activities. The solutions will be scalable, secure, and perfectly aligned with Client needs
  • Consultative Selling: Support sales teams by providing technical expertise/ advice/ content throughout the sales cycle, helping to craft compelling value propositions and blended proposals
  • Discovery Workshops: Support and/ or facilitate discovery sessions with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into powerful digital and/ or blended digital solutions
  • Validate Feasibility: Ensure the technical feasibility and implementation success of proposed solutions, working closely with delivery and operational teams to validate approach
  • Collaborate with Zendesk Teams: Build strong relationships with Zendesk’s technical and commercial teams to stay up-to-date on product capabilities and leverage their expertise
  • Support RFI/RFP Responses: Provide digital and value-based content for RFI/RFP responses, ensuring alignment with Client requirements and business objectives
  • Solution Selling: Support contract negotiations with your technical, digital and operational expertise, ensuring that solutions meet both business and Client needs

What You Bring to the Role:

  • You have 5-8 years of related experience and a minimum of 3 years of software pre-sales experience
  • Passionate about designing tailored solutions for diverse Client needs, delivering exceptional Customer Experience outcomes
  • Strong experience with Digital Technology Solutions: Hands-on experience of digital solutions, particularly the Zendesk Suite. We also work with tech partners such as Stylo, Cloudset, Unbabel and agnoStack, with Twilio and Amazon Connect supporting our core Zendesk offering
  • Solution Design Excellence: A proven track record of designing and delivering scalable, future-proof solutions that enhance the customer experience
  • Consultative Selling Experience: Strong experience in consultative selling, with the ability to engage Clients, understand their challenges, and design solutions that add real value
  • Experience scoping, leading and executing product demos to support the Sales teams
  • Relationship Building: You excel at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to C-suite executives, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You’re skilled at presenting complex solutions in a clear and engaging way, whether in technical documentation or high-level presentations
  • CX Technology Understanding: You have a solid understanding of Customer Experience (CX) technologies, CX strategies and how digital solutions fit within broader business systems and operational settings
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution

Preferred Experience:

  • Broader Digital Expertise: Deep knowledge of a diverse portfolio of digital products, capabilities and outcomes
  • Target Operating Model understanding – you have worked within the BPO and/ or Contact Centre industries and understand where digital solutions can enhance and optimise overall Customer Operations
  • Strong Technical Background: Experience in designing enterprise-level solutions, ideally in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Operational solutions background: designing multi-faceted solutions, with a strong digital focus
  • Sales & Delivery Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with both Sales teams and Delivery teams to create and execute successful solution strategies
  • Flexibility and agility in your approach: open to working in a dynamic environment with multiple roles
