At Ventrica, we help brilliant brands create exceptional customer experiences. As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll play a key role in our next phase of growth—owning outbound prospecting and generating your own pipeline through smart, strategic outreach.
This is a role for someone who thrives on generating their own leads. You’ll identify new business opportunities, run targeted outbound campaigns, and build lasting connections with the right decision-makers. You’ll work closely with the wider commercial and marketing teams to shape campaigns, craft messaging and bring the Ventrica story to life in ways that resonate.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own your territory – Generate your own leads and manage outbound prospecting from start to finish.
- Target strategically – Build and execute multi-channel outbound campaigns tailored to specific industries, personas or segments.
- Start smart conversations – Use calls, emails, social and messaging to open meaningful dialogues with senior decision-makers.
- Run your own discovery – Lead early-stage discovery calls to understand challenges and position Ventrica as the ideal CX partner.
- Book qualified meetings – Secure high-quality, sales-ready opportunities for Account Executives and support a seamless handover.
- Collaborate cross-functionally – Work with marketing to shape campaign content, messaging, and insights based on what you’re seeing in the market.
- Stay organised and accountable – Track activity and results in Salesforce, meet key metrics, and constantly look for ways to improve.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in outbound sales or business development (ideally in tech, SaaS, or B2B services)
- A natural prospector who’s comfortable creating their own pipeline through cold outreach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – persuasive, professional, and people-focused
- Driven by targets, with a track record of hitting KPIs and creating high-converting opportunities
- Familiar with sales tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation platforms
- Confident running your own discovery calls and qualifying fit with senior stakeholders
- Organised, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
